About Antonio

Antonio has been involved with high tech for over 20 years in roles including consulting, sales, product development and marketing. An entrepreneur at heart, he started his first startup (a software development consultancy) while still attending college. He started his second venture focused on Geospatial technology in 1994. This venture took him to the Caribbean, Central and South America. In 2000 he and his then young family moved to the United States where he joined a startup focusing on Customer Relationship Management technology.

In 2003 he relocated to Huntsville, joining the product management team at Intergraph (now part of Hexagon). In 2007, he joined AeroMetric (now Quantum Spatial) where he was in charge of all marketing activities online and offline as well as lead in the implementation of Google Apps and Salesforce.com.

Antonio is very involved in the startup scene in North Alabama and the Southeast and founded Rocket Hatch to promote and support entrepreneurship in our region. His personal mission is to connect our local startups and entrepreneurs with the startup communities around the US and beyond, showcasing our community out of town and bringing here the best people, programs and resources globally. Antonio is also co-founder and advisor to several early-stage startups and consults at antoniomontoya.com and VibraInc.com
