Not interested in the next great ICO and don't want to bring AI into the fish food space. In 2011 I founded a social network at the height of craziness around social networks and we raised money before it tanked catastrophically.

I then founded a much less glamorous, much harder business. It took 5 years of slogging while working or studying to make a good profit but we contributed something positive to society from day one, earned revenue from day one and had a great time doing it.

I'm now interested in the next thing. I don't want to get rich quick - I want to find an important problem that we believe we can solve if we dedicate ourselves to it. Then I want to start attacking it relentlessly but sensibly. Focusing on our customers. Knowing them better than their own mothers. Then building the incremental features/services and finding initial advocates. Then and only then do we even consider dropping much money into it (but hopefully we don't need to).

I want to build a business that is still around in 20 years and does something positive and I want to have fun while doing it.

My professional experience consists mostly of running my training company and working in software sales. I have a pretty solid understanding of everything needed to run a small business including finance from my time at LSE and running my own company's finances.

I have coded previously during my degree although I've never worked professionally as a developer.
