About Justin Pickering - CEO of Blaine & Gonzalez

I have captained 7 start-ups in my life. 5 failed. 2 succeeded. I am happy to share all the details of each success and failure. Important values for me are blunt honesty, absolute integrity, and harmony on a team.

My life journey has proven to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that a small group of people who put their mind to a task, no matter how monumental it may seem, can succeed in changing the world.

I am married, a homeowner, and have a 3-month old baby girl. My wife and I speak Spanish and English interchangeably at home.

I got into studying foreign languages because I love to bridge gaps between cultures. My most moving experience with a foreign language was while working as a medical interpreter in Honduras.

My hobbies are reading (everything I can), playing saxophone, and playing World of Warcraft. I go to the gym 2-3 days per week. Other than that, I enjoy mowing my lawn, relaxing in my hot tub, and spending time with my family, my parents, and brothers and their families.
