Most of my experience has been helping small companies solve their problems or bringing their ideas to life with limited resources.
Working alone or in very small teams, I am often responsible for the full stack. Everything from graphics to database design and everything in between. This has given me great perspective and resourcefulness in solving problems or working with other members of a team or startup.
The thing I am most interested in now is to stop trading my hours for dollars. I want to build something I am proud of and that is meaningful to me and that prospers over time. Not simply going gig-to-gig. I want to starting something that has recurring revenue. I've worked with a few SaaS startups and realize how lucrative this can be. I've built my own SaaS product in the real-estate world but it really didn't take off as I expected. This was mostly because of the all too common thing developers do: jump in and start coding without thinking or asking what your market really wants and values. Therefore it's extremely important to me that whoever I may partner with is conscious of this. I do not want to waste time building something that nobody wants at the end of 3 months.
