About Pete

I am a FOREX technical analyst, developing on-line software that trades the 24-hour international foreign exchange market, which is the largest financial market in the world ($4 trillion/day). The product will be made available on a subscription basis. It is currently in the pilot/beta phase.

I started in this industry during the pioneering days of the mid-1990s (retail trading), once this market was made available to non-institutional traders.

I've also conducted seminars and mentored on the subject. I currently blog to keep my name in the industry as best as possible (350K views).

I want to see if a co-founder can offer innovative marketing ideas (especially with social media) that would help this kind of niche market acquire MAINSTREAM subscribers.

Co-founder doesn't have to have experience in the foreign exchange market.

This will be a business with microscopic overhead. It also does not need to be staffed heavily. The profit-to-expense multiple can be astronomical.

The key is the intellectual property of the designed system, which is not curve-fitted, and operates on a good risk/reward ratio. 3 years have been directly applied to this project in R&D.

It is said that 90% of the retail traders are not successful. I have determined the "whys", and will roll out a product that can solve this for the subscribers.

I want the company website to have a very simplified facing with buttons to select risk appetite, etc., much like using a vending machine or salad bar.

I also envision having a crowdfunding component to it, optionally, with a portion of profits to benefit charities and green causes.

I was a co-founder and General Manager of a start-up at the age of 25, managing about 100 staff, and responsible for most components including pricing, sales and operations. I purchased my first home and retail business at the age of 19-20 years old respectively. My passion for entrepreneurship has never wavered and I believe we are essentially born this way.
