I offer 18 years of IT strategy and IT consulting; with CRM, MAT & KM mastery; full SDLC; agnostic IT hardware and software solutioning; and comprehensive M&A assessment experience. My CRM, MAT, and KM projects span evaluation, budgeting and implementation across diverse industries and settings. For one organization, I brought 11 disparate organizations into both a single platform and a single stack, with one EU exception; and my data consolidation projects have provided high-quality data for sales and marketing, while also providing enormous benefits to risk mitigation and ROI. There is virtually no project in which my involvement has not extended to the overall IT picture up to and beyond 3 to 5 years out.

All in all, I have 119 (65 CRM, 42 MAT, 12 KM) software implementations under my belt that represent 200 total projects or endeavors. Most typically, I have 3 to 4 direct reports, 8 to 15 project resources, and 20 dotted lines; with more than 100 directly vested parties; and my work has impacted as many as 30,000 people at once, mostly ranging from 2,000-4,000. At any given time, I’ve had about 3 budgets to 8 max going on with values ranging from $4M to $80M each. I started my career achieving internal and external client savings of $100K per year, to now reaching up to $3.5M.

As Solutions Director, IT Strategy & Planning - Enterprise Portfolio Planning & Delivery, my BCBS Position represents a culmination of all prior learning and a dynamic customization of my role in IT. It is my responsibility to provide the strategic framework and guide the business as we develop an executable solution roadmap that serves the business' needs within the context of a shifting Healthcare landscape. I serve as the industry expert in complex hardware and software solutioning as well as manage the technical team to Support, Solution, Develop and achieve defined performance metrics that serve the organization’s needs over 3-5 year plans. I am responsible for the development of the IT strategy and IT Planning serving several specific areas of the organization. These include Member and Provider Services (MAPS), IT & Security, Corporate Communications, The Foundation, Strategic Services (our Innovation unit) and Audit divisions within BCBSMA. I serve as the lead to all aspects of technology assessment, implementation, modernization, development, and support for the Consumer Engagement initiative, Technical Modernization efforts and long-term Capability-driven Business Strategies. I am managing relationships across many verticals while increasingly becoming the lead on relationships across Technology Vendors, Solution Integrators, Consulting Organizations, Industry Research Firms, and Academic Organizations.
