About Marnus

I consider myself as a sustainability professional and serial entrepreneur based in the Cape Winelands. Currently working on waste management projects and looking to develop software as a service, for the industry. I am open to discuss ideas over a cup of coffee and to partner with a creative and trusted developer to develop a mobile app and web-based software.

I have an academic background and work experience in research and project management relating to projects in waste management, carbon footprint accounting, renewable energy, agriculture, construction, property development, and mining.

I am an MPhil Sustainable Development Planning & Management graduate from Stellenbosch University my thesis can be viewed at I’m currently doing a part time MBA degree at the University of Stellenbosch Business School due to be completed December 2018. 

I have a deep grounded passion for sustainable development in Africa and see myself as a current researcher and entrepreneur.
