About Martin

Martin is CTO and co-founder of loopstock, an intelligent inventory management solution for hospitals. He holds a MSc in Architecture (2013) from Bauhaus University Weimar. During his course, and driven by a constant curiosity and enthusiasm for technology, he expanded his field of study to rapid prototyping, electronics design, and software development. Between 2010 and 2013, he was both a research assistant at the Gr├╝nderwerkstatt neudeli (the Startup hub of the Bauhaus University) and for the International Management and Media professorship at Bauhaus University; while there, he was responsible for teaching students about Prototyping and Innovation-Management.

After his studies, Martin founded plants & machines, an Ag-Tech hardware startup, and developed an IoT platform for horticulture as its CTO. At plants & machines, he was responsible for hardware and embedded software development, designing for manufacturing, BOM management, and company financials.

At loopstock, Martin is responsible for research and development. He is the swiss army knife of the operation, always keeping the right tools handy to solve any problem.
