About Megan

We’re looking for someone jazzed to help freelancers and independent professionals save time on business overhead so they can focus on their passions. This person should be collaborative, customer-focused, excitable, and interested in trying new things. They should be willing to share thoughts early and often.

We released an automated time tracking and invoicing service in January 2015. Users install small apps on their devices to track their time automatically. The data is sent securely to the cloud platform, and users can review all their time on the site. They assign their time to the projects they’ve defined, and our adaptive system learns to categorize a lot of their time automatically, saving them even more time. They can then produce an invoice for a given time period.

Check it out at:

Our services saves our users time, improves invoice accuracy, and preserves users' most valuable resource: their attention. We are a very young startup, so we of course have more far-reaching visions than that. If you’re interested in hearing more, please contact us!

The other cofounder is the primary investor, and also our biggest power user. He has a lot of experience founding successful startups, but can only spare a couple hours a week for the project.

I'm the full-time cofounder. My specialty in the past was full-stack analytics tools, from database to UI. I excel at product and project management, customer support, analytics, research, finding quick solutions, and learning about all the other hats I have to wear. I excel even more at these things when I have someone around to trade ideas, refine ideas, and amplify excitement!

We could use some help with business development, marketing, or machine learning. Bonus points for experience in or excitement about any of the following:
* business development
* marketing
* machine learning
* customer support
* fundraising
* entrepreneurship
* Python
* QA

Optimally, this person would be in the San Francisco Bay area for a substantial portion of the time, and would have at least 20 hours/week to dedicate to the project. However, it will be fine to work from home most of the time. We’d just like to be able to meet face to face once in a while.

Compensation for the first year would be substantially in equity.
