My role was to define & align the internal bid process, to review Regulation and Legal obligations within tender’s documents and prepare recommendations for any business impact and provide support to all national offices.
I have successfully managed tenders that are more than $70M in a timely manner that meets with the company’s strategic plan and liaise with various stakeholders for approvals and I have won contracts of more than $600M throughout the 6 year working duration.
Developed business and competitor analysis for the Senior Managers in identifying new opportunities and solutions to improve costs and margins.
Throughout my past 6 years working experience, I have been mainly involved in a corporate environment within various industries such as Electrical and Energy, Pharmaceutical and Waste Management. It has helped me in many ways in gaining knowledge and experiences on strategies, processes and how the company is being operated at a larger scale.
Working at a startup, allows me to move away from the dull “preset to-do list” into a world full of new challenges and possibilities. Personally, I see working at a startup is an adventure. Major companies have already done all the work and I have been just following an established plan, my job is focused mainly on getting my assigned tasks completed in an efficient and accurate manner. Whereas at a startup, I will have the opportunity to help create everything from scratch, imagine, innovation solutions, and develop the workflows that best fit the company, change and adapt them once and again.
In a nutshell, working at a startup is a wonderful way to acquire experience and continue learning while doing real work in a dynamic environment. I would like to break years of routine work, get new goals, regain passion and continue growing by using my existing knowledge to help create something new.
