About Michael Ferar

I am a serial entrepreneur who has started 19 businesses since college. Industries of experience include: media/advertising. entertainment, sports, technology, restaurant/hospitality real estate and publishing. I purchased two franchises and have successfully raised angel and private equity capital. My functional strengths are centered around strategic, sales, marketing and operations but I have a thorough knowledge of finance and M&A operations.

I am currently seeking a technology partner interested in trading equity for the development of our MVP software. The concept is a matching app that connects amateur sports leagues and referees. Uber for refs. I have completed a detailed scope of work and have over 100 leagues and 200 referees ready to use the system.

There are over 1 billion amateur sports games in the world each year requiring over 2 billion referee hours, our unit of revenue. Our service is free for leagues to use and takes a small commission from referee payments processed directly from our app to their bank account.

I am initially seeking a developer who can create the MVP in HTML5 in a mobile responsive environment and allow us to on board several key clients with revenue this fall. After completing this milestone, I have several investors interested in funding our next stage of operations to native apps, virtual reality training centers and referee merchandise sales.

Our five year business plan includes penetrating 5% of the global amateur sports market with a valuation of $300M and an exit plan of acquisition or IPO to a major sports industry supplier in 2023.
