About Mark

Hi, I am currently Chief Business Development Officer of a publicly traded media company where I spearhead all of the company’s digital growth initiatives (mobile, visual and music). During my time with the company from 2008 to present (of which I was president of the north American business for 3 of those years) our market cap has increased from $40M to over $400M and our company has grown from $4M in sales to over $550M in sales. In addition, I have substantial experience in the online space having co-founded an online casual games business that was sold to Liberty Media in 2006 for over $450M. Please let me know if my background may be of interest.

Examples of a few accomplishments over the past 12 months:
- Signed strategic partnership deal with Yahoo to deploy Yahoo video content to in-store digital signage (ie Yahoo TV for business)
- Signed strategic partnership with Tripadvisor to deploy Tripadvisor content and user hotel review system to hospitality industry (ie Tripadvisor TV)
- Signed strategic partnership with Shopkick to deploy location based mobile loyalty program to retail stores (http://allthingsd.com/20120718/macys-using-shopkicks-app-nationwide-now-that-its-as-easy-as-hitting-play/)
- Signed strategic partnership with Shazam to deploy “Shazam for Shopping” to stores in combination with digital watermarking technology (to allow for presence detection of a customer within a store and corresponding mobile personal shopping experience).
- Partnered with ClearChannel iHeartRadio to deploy in-store and mobile streaming music channels for retail brands.
- Negotiated and completed blanket licensing deals with Sony Music, Viacom and Disney to create products around their specific brands and IP.
- Made 10+ investor presentations to existing shareholders and large financial institutions (Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley etc) describing the digital innovation of the business.
