About Myra Ann
I am a hard working driven person. I usually have at least 2 businesses going and at the moment I have 3. Plus I have a hobby business as a pastry chef. I have oodles of college, but no upper grad degree. I have chef degree, that was done purely for pleasure. I've run my telecommunication company for 30 years and enjoy the business now as much as ever. I also have a property management company and a real estate agency that were started after my move to Costa Rica from the United States.
I believe in using technology to give you more time and more freedom. I avoid time-sucking things like Facebook and other social media. I use technology to let me live while supporting life. Gotta eat, right? But that doesn't mean I have to be stuck in some cold area in a dreary office. I work just fine with an ocean view.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it's courage to continue that counts. - Winston Churchill

Organizing the company. Overseeing 40 employees. All departments reported to this position.

Started doing bookkeeping. When the company was failing, I taught myself sales and set out to make sure I kept getting paid. I learned some very valuable lessons here. That got me promoted to general manager and I had the opportunity to work in all three divisions, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. The company is now defunct, but I remember my time there with fondness.

I wear many hats. There is nothing in my business that I don't know how to do if I need to. I started this business with my last 700.00 and 1 phone system. I had a wonderful partner that is my husband now of 30 years. He has since retired, but I love the business an want to continue.
