About Me: I have 16 years of corporate IT leadership, management, business development, technical, and financial experience gained in tech Fortune 100 multinationals, private equity, and utility companies across 8 countries. I have an MBA from INSEAD, and undergrad from Kingston University (UK) in Business IT.
I have a very good understanding of how corporations work, I am not a twentysomething looking for a quick buck, I believe in building the business organically, and a vision of creating one of the most desirable places to work, while giving back to society without hisaab. I have made major sacrifices to be where I am right now, so my commitment (and that of my co-founder) is key.
In February 2013, I left my corporate role at Abraaj Capital to explore some entrepreneurial initiatives.
After a major pivot, and some investment, I am convinced that software will control most of what goes on in the world. To start with we are focussing on programmable datacenters for corporations and telcos. To this end I have built a team of engineers in an offshore location, focussed on developing and testing of opensource cloud orchestration platforms. Its a young and enthusiastic team of engineers, who look to do great things, and are ramping up fast. More details to be shared later.
I am looking for a technical co-founder, who is essentially a full stack programmer/leader, with at least 15 years of experience in programming (python, Django, RoR) plus any three of data centre technology, virtualization, SDN, NFV, and/or networking.
The technical co-founder has to share this vision of programmable everything, be confident thus experienced in his/her domain, will have already led teams and be looking to leave the corporate world to build something unique for the long haul.
Look forward to hearing from such professionals. Exceptionally keen if you understand the above, and have corporate or other (paid) technical training experience.
