Started a UAV services startup, and started the challenging work on both exploiting a niche market, creating a few other markets, and developing the technical portion of the business. Through a few missteps, this forced a focus away from the technical aspect, and towards the business development and networking aspect.
Using lessons learned of 20 years spent in the engineering field, it has been immensely helpful to apply those lessons of how to network, listen to the client(s), and how to gain confidence in oneself to succeed in the face of adversity.
