THE PERSON I AM LOOKING FOR.
I am looking for a man or woman with a warm heart and who is passionate about social entrepreneurship and/or social change. I would appreciate if he/she is experienced entrepreneur to oversee the creation of a portfolio of exciting and ambitious social enterprises in Kigali, Rwanda. The person will oversee several Incubation-related processes and mentor a multicultural team on all aspects of market research, business development, business plan preparation and ultimately fundraising and launch. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, passionate entrepreneur to make a real difference in the field of social entrepreneurship. This person should be willing to relocate (or have frequent travels to Kigali).
And in addition, the person needs to be up for: 1. No routine: Every day will be different. One day you might be meeting NGO clients and writing a concept, the next day you might be interviewing farmers in a remote village. 2. We’re a start-up, so everyone is involved with growing our business, whether that’s helping with our marketing, raising funds for our foundation, or suggesting tools to make us more productive. I would someone that take initiative. 3. Thinking outside the box. I would not just accept the way things are done because I am always looking to find innovative approaches. 4. Being independent and flexible. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL THE ABOVE ARE NOT MEANT TO SCARE ANYONE FROM REACHING OUT - THEY JUST REPRESENT MY INTENTIONS (I HATE THE WORD EXPECTATION). THEREFORE, PLEASE GET IN TOUCH SO THAT WE CAN GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER
