I've worked in NYC for the past 6 years always in some sort of biz dev/ sales capacity. My company started from a side gig I took on while working at my last company as an employee when I realized a lot of smaller tech co.'s could use help acquiring new clients through marketing strategies. Saleswami is 100% bootstrapped and I've come to appreciate the value of money and building a profitable company without having to take on capital. I also had to build a sales strategy from scratch and be able to manage and automate as much as possible as a solo founder - I'm all about EFFICIENCY. Working smart instead of working "hard". The best part about what I've been working on over the past year has been the numerous conversations (some that didn't turn into sales) with founders from all over the world. I've learned to value every conversation, even the one's going into that I didn't think much would come from it.
