About Peter

Peter Sinkevich is a career serial entrepreneur, mentor, formal advisor, angel investor and public speaker, born from a multi-million dollar exit in his early 20’s before the dot com boom of the nineties.  He has played a role in more than one hundred entrepreneurial ventures across 17 different market verticals over the last three decades. Approximately seventy of those startups he served as a formal advisor to and guided roughly half of them to merger, exit or acquisition.  He was an equity partner and leader in a dozen more of which produced nine failures but three exits totaling more than $100 million dollars, the most recent bought by TransUnion.  Peter currently sits on the Board of Advisor panels of a half dozen New York City startups, including KeySupreme, a startup that promises to solve the global data breach epidemic.

Peter is the Director of Fuckup Nights NYC, a global community of 155 cities in over 55 countries that centers the conversation around failure and the lessons learned from those experiences, advises the Family Office Association on entrepreneurship, launched Startup Grind in Connecticut in 2014 - a Google For Entrepreneurs community and the world’s largest independent entrepreneurial organization with more than 218 cities in 84 countries, formerly a Mentor for Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, the largest entrepreneurial accelerator in New York City, a Mentor at Defy Ventures, a non-profit entrepreneurial, employment and character training blended online program for people with criminal histories & is very visible and active in building the New York City and Connecticut entrepreneurial and investor ecosystems.

Peter speaks around the country on all topics related to entrepreneurship and is also known to play a role in several startup competitions. As a Fairfield County native with a long standing history in New York City, Peter is uniquely positioned to assist rapidly growing startups in the New York City and Connecticut regions.
