About Ryan

I lead people so that we can all achieve the impossible. As a young man I believed that nothing was impossible. I was taught that if I can dream it then I can do it. This mentality has grown with me.

I believe that work doesn’t have to suck. I believe that passion for a job well done can drive creative innovation. I believe that my job doesn’t take away from my family, but enhances our lives because we are part of something greater than ourselves.

For the past 20+ years I have lived and breathed the user centered design, digital experiences, and the multimedia realm. Whether it’s website creation, managing a team, ui design, ux flows and wireframes, prototyping or creative direction for a mobile app, my passion for smart design and innovation is alive in everything I do.

Work Experience

Lead Product Designer

February 2016 - Today

As the lead product designer I am responsible for all current and future designs of the Starz digital platforms web and tv platforms. This includes all international releases (currently 5 countries and 31 planned by Q1 2020), domestic releases of Roku, Samsung TV, Android TV, tvOS, and web platforms. If I am not A/B testing on the web to increase conversions and retention I am creating new experiences and feature enhancements for the product team. I work closely with executives to help enhance our product across the world by interpreting feature requests, enhancements, and adding to our product from the a/b and user testing results.

As part of my duties I created the marketing website, branding and presentations.
