About Jake

I'm a young, motivated and capable entrepreneur looking for a technical Co-Founder for a social publishing platform / citizen journalism app that already has 7k registered users and close to 200k targeted and engaged twitter followers. (Our primary brand account has 70k alone and we get retweeted by HUGE accounts regularly https://twitter.com/Criticl_me *peep the retweet numbers). Meet Criticl https://criticl.me/, please note that we have bugs and the current stack is only for MVP, we've validated everything and now would be a good time to push towards a better stack.

We've even had some huge press. This AdWeek.com article is a great look into the vision and overall direction i'm trying to go with this product. http://www.adweek.com/socialtimes/criticl-a-new-platform-to-nurture-and-empower-citizen-journalism/615284 (peep the shares)

About me: I have 10 years of experience working with some of the bay areas largest agencies and the silicon valley's hottest startups / internet companies. I'm currently the lead product designer at a large startup in San Francisco. Outside of product i've worked on everything from high level corporate branding to Javascript and front-end dev, i've actually coded most of Criticl's front-end myself.

About you: you're political or understand the importance of freedom of speech. You have an affinity for journalism and feel a new era of media and journalism approaching. You live and breath high technology, you always know the hottest JS libraries and frameworks and you love to tinker with new technology. You're seriously disruptive and want to work a startup that truly wants to change an outdated industry.
