About Jeff

We're two part-time cofounders looking for a part-time CTO. I work in SF; Sarah is a grad student at Yale. We started Sage because we felt like millennials think about food differently than earlier generations and could use tools built for them.

Sage helps people eat better by doing challenges with friends. The app is a photo based app where people can find eating challenges, complete them by taking photos of their food, and do them with friends.

We think that existing eating and behavior change tools don't work well for millennials. Food loogers like MyFitnessPal and Fooducate are too much work. Discovery sights like Pinterest bring inspiration but not accountability. And older programs like WeightWatchers are too focused on weight alone as a measure of health.

We're in the process of building the Sage app. We've completed wireframes and a visual design and extensively tested them with users. We're looking for a technical co-founder who wants to lead development of either an iOS or Android app. Alternatively, we're looking for someone to mentor me while I learns Swift and builds the Sage iPhone app.

So if you care about healthy food and want to help us build this, please reach out!
