About Melissa

I've created a different kind of marketing firm, already profitable. A boutique agency built as a collective of both independent contractors/freelancers and strategic alliances – but only when necessary, and prescribed by each situation dependent upon the client and their desired outcome. My ultimate goal is to create a virtual team that will work independently under a single moniker allowing my offerings to change to fit the situation as needed. On paper and legally speaking, this collective company set up doesn’t exist.

I have been in the high tech event business for over 18 years and am known for my vast knowledge on tradeshow integration, particularly in the Microsoft space. With regard to marketing communications, I have led many campaigns, but am best known for my quirkiness in the creative, nimbleness to get things executed quickly, flexibility to make changes in real time, and ability to keep efforts well under budget.

I would like to see a larger-built infrastructure with more marketing service offerings provided. I would like to bring on a co-founder to help extrapolate the momentum and drive more projects, more frequently, to grow the business. I'm interested in eventually bringing in full time employees to maintain consistency in the work, with the next step of securing an actual office space for us to work together, collaboratively as a team to get the best out of our work and allow us to take on larger, more involved and elaborate marketing projects.
