About Shahryar

I'm an experienced federal IT professional. Most of my professional work has been in project management and development.

I had been working on developing ideas since business school, but finally found one and started passionately pursuing it since 2013 in in the Health and Wellness industry. The focus is on nutrition and getting people to start really hitting health goals by making it easy to connect them with nutrition professionals like dietitians, nutritionists, etc.

I fully vetted this idea through the Founders Institute in 2014, and was one of the few people to finish that intense program. Through it I launched my company and laid out a solid patch I'm working towards.

I'm looking for a good tech co-founder to come aboard who can work with me part-time for now, but once we get into an Accelerator that gives us a solid investment ($25k+), can go full-time on this.

From UMBC, I've done a B.S. in Information Systems along w/ a minor in Comp Sci. I have a strong enough background to assist in development, but I'm not strong enough to lead.

On my end I can bring experience and resources on the business end of things. Between Founders Institute and the Univ of MD's Smith School of Business (where I did my MBA), I have a lot of experience, mentors and resources I can tap into. I'm also pretty good at pitching thanks to 10+ years of doing stand-up comedy.
