About Sterling

My first company was around a DIY water electrolysis kit. At 18 I was selling people a way to split water into a highly combustible gas using pulsed ultrasonic DC voltage. I was in love with the product, and spared no expense in making it. I was not, however, in love with the customer. In order for a company to not only survive, but to thrive, the focus MUST be on the customer!

At 22 I took a "sabbatical" from my college life to chase the BitCoin train! I built and maintained a sizable mining farm using top of the line ATI graphics cards. While I never got burned by the market, (I played them well) I felt like an operator of an incredibly boring server farm. My key take away was this: in business, you should always move away from being a day-to-day operator, and move towards being a directorial owner of the business.

Presently, I run Berkeley Ultrasound, with an intense love for my customers. I see them as an invaluable ally in the fight against brain disorders. I'm proud to be able to develop a product the provides more value to my clients than any other company out there.

There's so much more that I've done in the course of my life. Quick run-down: spent first half of high school weekends volunteering at science museum, hold a Track & Field record (I broke the 30 year time), I love Jiu-Jitsu, I love Speech & Debate, lived abroad in Spain for five months, karaoke champion extraordinaire!
