About Steve

I am an executive with a record of securing investor return, product growth, and business expansion in organizations from venture initiation to $50 million dollars within industries including electronic security, energy storage, healthcare, electronics manufacturing, and metals and chemicals.

I have a demonstrated capacity for creating and executing business strategies, guiding diverse geographic and functional teams, and succeeding with complex business opportunities. Prior to over a decade of overall leadership experience, I directed individual corporate functions including sales forces, marketing teams, business development, engineering and multinational operational facilities. I can understand, advise & collaborate with each – often the key to achieving complex corporate goals.

Find substantial info about me at www.StrategyThink.com. Some highlights:

Held the hands-on leadership (P&L) position and reported to the investors of six small companies, startups or corporate divisions of up to $16 million annual revenue: Hi-tech electronics, surgical education, medical financing, specialty metals and chemicals, management consulting.

Started and managed corporate divisions of over 100 employees in both the US and Asia: Specialty chemicals and metals (manufacturing) for electronics assembly.

Worked closely with private investors to launch new ventures. Defining a business model, developing corporate and equity structures, producing formation, corporate by-law, and operating agreements and managing the construction, launch and operation of these ventures.

Closed milestone contracts with major global customers with greater financial and market leverage: Hewlett Packard, Intel, Compaq, Medtronic, Boston Scientific, others.

I have spent years in front of customers creating lasting and profitable relationships.

MBA - The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and
BS in Engineering - New York University Polytechnic School of Engineering.

Given this background, I bring value to investors, customers and key employees.

Owners. I intimately understand the financial, business and personal goals of owners and investors. I have frontline experience with customer needs, business operations, sales management, financial management, strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, board-level reporting, analytics and administration. Owners and investors can be confident that I can successfully engage and add value to all the critical activities of their organization.

Customers. I have spent a substantial part of my career in front of customers. Their importance transcends the revenue line. Great customers drive future products and services.

Employees. Given my experience, I can actively direct, advise & collaborate with each critical corporate function - asking the right questions, setting challenging goals & recognizing contributions. I can mobilize teams in diverse settings to achieve complex breakthrough goals – across cultures and geographies.
