About Sue Ann

I am looking for someone who is willing to help with the financials of the business. My daughter and I are trying to open a specialty coffee cafe and commercial kitchen that we can rent to other entrepreneurs. Besides coffee, the cafe will serve pasties (PAST-eez), which are a meat and vegetable pocket. I have been making these for family and friends for about a year here in Tucson and the demand is increasing, including catering events. I have looked for places to rent kitchen space to make these pasties with no success. All I find are waiting lists. This is what brought me to the idea of renting my kitchen to others for additional income. I have an Indiegogo campaign going and also a Fundify campaign. I have problems coming up with a business plan and financial information. I have a rough guess on income and expenses for the next 3 years, but it is a lot of guess work which is maybe how it is done with startups, I'm not sure.

Ideally I would like someone who can help us get the financing we need to start our cafe. Hopefully this person would be willing to help by investing as well as helping us find an investor.

I feel our idea has great potential for the area that we are looking at due to the fact that the closest specialty coffee shop is a 25-minute drive and the closest pasty shop is a 1 1/2-hour drive. Our area is growing with families as well as a large retirement community.I sell a lot of pasties in the retirement communities because many of them are from the upper Midwest where the pasty is well known.
