Entrepreneur, I see no value in the current Nigerian education system. Hence my ambition to create a viable product that can employ me and others. In a time when video game/viewing centers were shabbily put up, I started and ran "Arcade", a model sports center, for 9 years, generating well over a million naira in income yearly, and employing 7 workers in the process. I dreamt of a game center secure enough for parents to drop off their wards for a weekend treat, my emotions were betrayed first time it happened.
Taught me a lot in finance, accounting, business and people management, user experience, etc. My main source of income at the time, yet i thought of it as a side gig. My heart has always been with software innovations, and lately Cryptocurrencies. I think global when i think innovations, but not naive enough not to leverage on the Nigerian economic space for traction.
Thanks for taking out time to read my boring story, they say i am better in person though.
The maxim "don't blow your own trumpet" is mediocre. As such entrepreneurs must never consider it. Flawed as it is already, can someone say why i bought the darn trumpet in the first place¿ - Uwem Uke
