About Wilmica

I handle contracts at an international publishing company. I handle contracts with government, corporate and Academic customers. I liaise with my company's sales department to ensure customer satisfaction and protect the company's interests. Prior, I did anti-human trafficking work. Investigative Analyst in the Human Trafficking Response Unit

Manhattan District Attorney's Office

June 2014 - July 2016

• Built and investigated over 100 human trafficking investigations through proactive searches of open source data and criminal justice databases one of which resulted in the conviction of a sex trafficker who victimized minors. • Investigated a human trafficking investigation by identifying money-laundering components of cases. Subsequently, I was able to track international money movement and analyzing bank records and various financial data. • Developed innovative ways to investigate human trafficking cases using social media. • Collaborated with city, state and federal agencies to further investigations. • Interviewed civilian witnesses in the field and participated in numerous interviews with prosecutors. • Drafted search warrants, wire applications and subpoenas. • Conducted research and consulted with innovative companies such as IST Research (DARPA contractor) to analyze if conflicts and political unrest cause increase in trafficking from regions. • Collaborated with data scientists to create and adapt programs for the HTRU’s workflow. • Trained junior analysts in the HTRU.
