About Yasmine

Fueled by a passion to empower women in all areas of life, Yasmine founded the Philadelphia chapter of Girl Develop It in 2011 while running her first software company. She is currently the CEO of useROAR, a social impact company aimed at decreasing the incidents of assault against women with fashionable safety accessories and educational programs. In addition, Yasmine serves on the advisory board of TechGirlz, an organization focused on encouraging middle-school girls to pursue careers in technology as well as CodedbyKids, a non-profit that helps inner city kids learn how to code.

I'm currently looking for a tech co-founder. Someone ideally that has experience with hardware and software and can lead the team as well as both initiatives with the support of our advisors.
