About Zarko

I believe everyone is a leader and can make a positive difference. I put people first and strive to enable everyone around me to learn, grow and succeed.

I help organizations flourish and magnify their social impact. I thrive in the intersection of organizational development, strategy and social learning. I seek ways to connect ideas, people and organizations, to create frameworks for learning, collaboration and growth, and to fundamentally change the leadership paradigm: how we work together toward a common vision.

As a consultant at The World Bank, I am building learning communities to assist staff in improving vital skills to more effectively tackle global developmental challenges. As a changemaker, I am building a social venture, Lead In, a leadership learning community where aspiring leaders come together to share perspectives and practice their leadership.

Previously, I co-founded and scaled a nonprofit that connects and empowers people through language and culture. I spent seven years building an organization from a simple idea - creating a forum for motivated individuals to share their language and culture with those interested in learning - to a thriving community where people from all walks of life learn how to teach their language, grow as educators and leaders, and enable thousands of eager learners to speak a different language.

My specialties include organizational development, leadership, training and facilitation. I constantly seek opportunities to learn, and to apply my knowledge and skills in a way that enables people to grow and helps organizations to achieve exceptional results.

Founder

LeadIN

July 2015 - Today

I founded LeadIN in June 2015 to redefine leadership and provide opportunities for people who are typically not seen as leaders and don’t have easy access to leadership development to grow and become the leaders they naturally are. LeadIN enables you to become the leader you are. Leading is not based on position, title, or formal authority. We are all leaders. We all have unique talents and we can all inspire others toward a common good. LeadIN offers you a platform to turn talents into strengths and grow the leader within. LeadIN brings people together to learn, share, and grow their leadership. It is shaped by two core principles. First, learning is social: we learn best when we exchange our unique perspectives and experiences with other people. Second, practice leads to mastery: practicing what we learn and integrating it in our lives allows us to create and sustain positive habits and continuously grow our abilities, our character and our leadership.
