I agree with Andrew, possibly explore making the connections with the stadiums?
We struggled through the broadcasting issues with my last business. it was a nightmare as so few people actually own the content that they distrubute, they have just liscenced it.
As a proof of concept we used youtube content (there is a lot of sport content on there.. some wierd and wonderful sports from Malaysia) - in our case we could use anything that had the permission to be embedded on someone elses website. However, if you use the youtube API I believe you can search by licsense type and only bring back Creative Commons content from your search
