Ditto. Rocket Lawyer has a really cool "interview" feature to draft documents based on your particular needs.

I\'d also check out eMinutes. They\'re incorporating first time entrepreneurs
for free -- http://eminutes.com/entrepreneurs

I know the guy behind the firm and he\'s a solid dude -- just trying to give
back to the community.

Liability:
1) if it is just going to be yourself plus support staff, get a rider on your home policy.
2) put in the small print on every proposal Liability limited to the amount of fees charged. Governing law [your state].

Unless you are doing brain surgery, your liability will be minimal.

Check out upcounsel.com , they have a lot of the required document boilerplates available, and a list of required actions all for free. I used them to assist with incorporating my company.

Hey Everyone,

I got help with our incorporation from Peter Buckland at Wilmer Hale. WH
has something called the "QuickStart Program", where they defer the vast
majority of a startup\'s legal cost until after the company has secured
funding. So far, they\'ve helped me w/ my company
setup, copyright, licensing, convertible debt term sheets and equity
agreements without asking for any upfront payment. They also give a
discount to the companies who work with them as part of the quickstart
program after they have received funding... I think it\'s a pretty sweet
deal!

Peter was referred to me from a personal reference and has been very hands
on. He\'s been great to work with. The QuickStart program gives us legit
legal coverage and comes with minimal upfront risk.

If you\'d like an introduction to Peter, feel free to email me.

I had good experience using this site: http://startuplawyer.com/

This is not a comprehensive end-all-be-all site, but a lot of their answers are short, to-the-point and even funny.

If you\'re in SF/Bay Area we highly recommend Orrick - they are official supporters of FounderDating and we can do an intro or you can take advantage of the free office hours they just announced as a way to meet them and ask questions. Incorporating isn\'t hard, but doing it wrong can be costly.

There\'s also Docracy, which also has boilerplate documents. I work with them at my incubator, and they\'re pretty helpful.
