My startup was started November last year. I was fortune enough to find a perfect team for development. After working on various projects we are now is we need to expand our business overseas.
I tried to hire one sales team of Europe but the results from them was disappointing and it also cost me alot.
So now, I am looking for a sales team in Europe that will work on project basis i.e. if they can bring projects for my company then only they will get money as per the percentage decided else nothing.
Sumeet, There are companies out there who work on 100% commission projects. I have been doing it for almost 2 decades. There are others that I have run into throughout the years who also work on 100% commission. A lot depends on how much of the sales process you want to outsource. For example, have you determined if you want to hire a company to do lead generation only, or if you want them to do other pieces as well up to and including closing the deal? Sometimes outsourcing a piece of the sales process is better/easier than outsourcing all of it. It depends on your situation and your ability to market and sell your product and what you feel comfortable handling.
From the sales company side, they need to have a path to be profitable as well. If you know your target audience and what buying motives they might have and have enough revenue in the deal in order to pay the sales company a worthwhile percentage then you are closer to finding a partner to help you.
Good luck with that Sumeet. I have the same challenge, looking for sales team to work on commission on contracts sold, for US Sales. I have not been able to find anyone that is willing to work without a salary. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas as to how to identify potential candidates, then that would be great!
