so I'm trying to find a cofounder for my lawtech startup. and I started giving couple of messages, but I'm a little lost.
I see a list of 5000+ people, each of them with a nice profile pic, with nice profile description.
How can I decide...?
Is there a way to reverse the process, where I just showcase my startup somewhere and whomever is interested would contact me ?
I think, it depends on your need, everyone situation is not the same.. you make decision according to the skills set your are looking for.
I reckon you need to define who you actually need to team up with. I think you need a technical co-founder who's had experience in building startups (even if they failed). Make a sort list by checking out their portfolio and have a chat with them. You will know who to choose then. Good luck!
While you will find many people, not everyone might be in a stage to become a cofounder.
I feel you should reach out to people who fit your needs, and not just everyone.
Maybe look at skills, passion, experience and then reach out.
Happy to help
one possibility is try to find a customer and make them a cofounder . probably another startup guy would fit for you. Finding a non tech cofounder is a tricky one. you can also ask look for fresh graduates in that field
Thats your work. to make it easy first check your specific cofounder e.g Programmer, CTO, Marketer, use the search engine then send to alot but reading their work experience thats the work you have to put in. to find quality founders
I've decided that I'll learn how to sell myself. I'll put some $ into facebook ads and see what goes from there.
Is there a way to close this topic ?...
