So, besides the usual suspects, like https://angel.co/ and http://www.crunchbase.com/companies, any other recommendations?  Has anyone tried http://startupli.st/ ?

I've used startupli.st and really liked my experience. There's also betali.st which is very similar. However, I'm friends with the founder of startupli.st and also know a colleague who is working on a more app store concept for the web that you could you possibly list your startup on if it's launched / public beta.

Hi Lydia & fellow founders, we're encouraging companies to claim their profile on Ryse if they're interested in connecting/attracting agencies and brands. Always free to the startups. We're in MVP mode, so more features getting added based on use, but give this a whirl:

Looking forward. Cheers! Mark Silva

Peter - site it up with a daily email sign up - would that work for beta?

Hi Lydia-- Hooray for female entepreneurs! In addition to the ones you mentioned, I also like Gust.com because you can create a much more in-depth picture of your company AND share it directly with angel groups and other types of investors. You can also download a nicely formatted one-pager in PDF format that's very handy to email around. And you can always direct non-Gust investors to that profile to see detailed financial projections, etc. Hope this helps! Cynthia Cynthia Schames Founder, AbbeyPost cynthia@abbeypost.com

I give BetaLi.st a big thumbs up. :) It generated a couple hundred signups for me, they still keep coming in. :) Angel List is great too.
