We're building a marketplace for group activities that has the potential to incorporate sponsorship at some point in the future. The sponsorship would be goods (e.g. Pop Chips for an event, Nike swag for completing a race) or discounts (e.g. 15% off supplies at Lowes).
Can anyone share knowledge of how these deals are structured? In particular, what kind of revenue comes through these deals? We see other businesses monetizing through sponsored rewards, so there must be something. At this stage, just having a ballpark would help us set strategy.
