New York is one of the biggest media publishing hubs in the US. I would recommend looking at New York or Los Angeles depending on which category of media you are attacking.

A good group that can help you with this decision is the International Accelerator based in Austin, Texas. Their specialty is helping companies move to the United States and setting up shop.  Contact me via my profile and I will share some links and contact information with you. 

It is extremely expensive to live in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago or San Francisco, but these cities contain some of the world's largest publishing companies.
