This needs to be one that is great for marketing, but can still be good for other departments.

Thanks
Forget about “build it and they will come.” Products without scalable distribution channels will fail to gain traction. Instead of hiring an expensive marketing team, take this course to master SEO, content marketing, retargeting, viral loops, email marketing, and sales funnel optimization.

Hello Diane,

I can't say which is best specifically because I have not deployed a number of them however I can say with certainty that Celoxis works quite well with SalesForce however it is not intuitive for all Corp Dept's. and takes a great deal of education or discipline.

Hi Diane,

Agree with all the above, there are many to choose from. We have done many of these installations and given what I think you may need, I would suggest Financial Force or Kimble. And Paul Garcia is absolutely correct; without proper change management and leadership from the top to instill adoption, no tool will work for you. You can design the best hammer in the world and if no one uses it, it will not work.

I would be happy to chat more about this with you directly since we do this all the time and just let me know if I could be of service here.

Yours in Progress,

Bartlomiej Jan Skorupa

Diane,

There's a lot of them!  You can go through AppExchange and see the list but it really, really depends on what the needs (and budget of course) are as to which one is "best" for any given organization/situation.

That is one of the major initial reasons for using someone like me (a Solution Architect or Technology Advisor) right from the start to work with an organization to determine "best" fit, and then to design how that will actually be implemented.

I'll assume you mean Project Management. You're not going to find an easy answer without testing some options. It's really about how much your team adopts the solution, not just the solution itself. As you know with SFDC, if the users don't use it, there's no meaningful data to analyze. The same with any add-ons. It can be the greatest add-on off all time and if your team doesn't use it, it's worthless. A large number of appExchange companies have some kind of test procedure for you to try their product.
