I am sure there are a few methods that can be used to evaluate what a company is really worth. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on how to establish the valuation of an early stage tech startup.

Valuations seem to be quite arbitrary and based on whats gone before.  You might look at companies in the same or similar verticals, see how they were valued, and apply the principles to your own metrics and/or financials.
