We are looking for the best place to post for office help employees (not founders) who are comfortable in a lean startup culture. What tactics have people used? Have people tried Angel List for employees, for example? Just plain old craigslist?
You have an idea. Now it’s time to turn it into a brilliant and beautiful product. In this course, you’ll learn specialized tactics to study your user, create testable wireframes, and transform them into fully functioning features and products.
In my opinion, the only way to find/hire early stage employee's is through references and referrals. you need to get the word from someone that has WORKED with that individual to know if they fit in a startup "lean" environment, are comfortable with change, can move quickly and handle confrontation well. A lot of people think they want to work in startups, but aren't actually cut out for it.
It depends what kind if employees your looking for. If they are technical, I would recommend rentacoder.com. I have 8 employee working for me from there.
Depends on what you're doing / where you're headed, but if you get a sharp
person to do some of the unglamorous office work but proactively give them
opportunities to help with other stuff if they show initiative, can be a
good approach for getting what you need done now while building a committed
team longer term.
We tried Office Team for a part time office assistant. Then we posted ads on Indeed.com and Jobjournal.com and received resumes from the same folks Office Team was promoting. It was half the cost to hire direct and we found someone who has been with us for six months full time.
